Getting started is the hardest part of Internet Marketing. There are so many opportunities out there and each and every one of them promise you will make thousands of dollars overnight (Scams). I repeat this may or may not be possible but if you want a business that is reputable and will gain loyal followers and people who will trust you, you have to provide honest and legitimate information with no "hyped up promises".
I have been working on the internet quite a while now and I have given up in the past but I am always drawn back to the internet. I have tried many various programs, downloaded tons of E-Books and studied the advice given by hundreds of people who "claim to have all of the answers" to your money problems. I still struggle from time to time but I have learned many things of what to do and what not to do.
Every one of us on the internet has made some poor choices and have lost money; some more than others. There is no doubt that you too will also lose some money in the beginning but the trick is to not fall for the "get rich quick" schemes. There is no such thing. The "get rich quick" schemes work for those who have no idea or even care of who is falling for their convincing videos, sales letters or offers of free gifts. They make money, but you lose money. These types of businesses will not sustain for the duration.
It is up to you to educate yourself on the ways of the internet and I hope to provide some of that education to you through my trials and errors and recommendations. The links, programs and information that I provide is no guarantee that you will make money from that particular program or type of marketing; they are my recommendations, reviews and opinions. You still need to decide what your strengths and weaknesses are and then build your business on that basis.
Throughout the pages of this website I will provide you with information on the different people I follow and trust their advice, along with other information and tools that I use or have used. Again, it is up to you to decide what will work for you.
Most of my recommendations are for someone starting out on a "shoestring budget or an almost non-existent budget" but there are some areas of internet marketing and at some time down the road you will need to pay for some services such as a website and domain name to keep your business running well and organized.
I will go into those aspects of internet marketing later on in some of the other pages of this website. I will provide you with the best information I can and let you know if there is a cost involved.
Having an internet business can be very exciting. There is nothing like that feeling of getting up in the mornings and look to see that you have made money while you were sleeping.
